The Loxton Library and Visitor Information Centre has been a treasured resource for the community for many years. With increasing demand, the Council recognised the need to expand its space and enhance its services. The result is the newly redeveloped Loxton Institute, which reopened in November 2024. This vibrant hub combines state of the art library services, visitor information, and cultural experiences in a modern and inviting setting.
To complement the library’s distinctive architecture, suspended linear lighting was selected as both a practical and visually striking solution for the cathedral ceiling in the main area. This approach not only enhances functionality but also introduces long, sleek lines of illumination that add a bold and dynamic design element to the space.
Feature wall lighting was also thoughtfully integrated throughout the library, adding depth and texture while elevating the overall ambiance creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.
HI Lighting collaborated closely with the project team to deliver a tailored lighting solution that aligned seamlessly with the Council’s vision, ensuring the Loxton Library will continue to inspire and serve the community for many years to come.
