Alanna is an Optimisation Lead with more than a decade of experience across creative, healthcare, finance, banking, insurance and not‑for‑profit organisations. In her current role, she focuses on finding smarter ways to work, improving processes, and lifting team capability through practical training and clear, thoughtful documentation.
She started her career in the UK publishing world, spending time with major companies like Hachette UK. That early experience gave her a strong grounding in editorial work, large‑scale operations, stakeholder engagement and e‑learning. When she moved back to Australia, she shifted into educational publishing before expanding into roles centred on systems, risk, and training development across a wide range of industries.
Alanna holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master’s in Publishing and Communication from the University of Melbourne, along with a short course completed at The City University of New York—which added an international layer to her skill set. Over the years, she’s contributed heavily to the educational healthcare space and has led several successful projects focused on training and capability uplift.
Outside of work, Alanna is a proud new mum who loves books, movies and travelling. She’s visited more than 30 countries and still draws inspiration from her time living in the UK. Her mix of creativity, analytical thinking and genuine care for quality makes her a strong, well-rounded leader in optimisation and training development.
